SAMUEL ADAMS SUMMER ALE
12 FL. OZ.
Brewed by the Boston Beer Company, Boston MA, Cincinnati OH, Breningsville PA

FROM THE LABEL: "Brewed with lemon peel and Grains of Paradise. Samuel Adams Summer Ale is a classic American Wheat Ale. Refreshing and citrusy with just a hint of spice at the finish. Seasonal brew."

Notes from beeradvocate:An American Wheat, brewed with malted wheat, lemon zest and grains of paradise - a rare pepper from Africa first used as a brewing spice in the 13th Century to create a crisp and spicy flavor and body.

FROM THE MOUTH :AMERICAN PALE WHEAT ALE: Hmm, had a funky taste to it. I took a sip and said 'uck' and it didn't get any better. Maybe too much old moldy lemon peel and I did taste a spice at the end and it was not pleasing. Disappointed, maybe it was old- it says to enjoy before notched month and the month was August, but I am not going to risk it and have this again. C-

FROM THE STORE: From a friend.
