FROM THE LABEL: "Based on our award- winning beer, Denver Pale Ale, this copper-hued treat is a celebration of everything Great Divide does best. Plenty of malty sweetness provides a backdrop for earthy , floral English and American hops, while French and American oak round off the edges and provide a touch of vanilla. Thanks to everyone who's supported us for the last 18 years- here's to 18 more! Suggested Food pairings: Bacon & blue cheese hamburger, barbecue ribs, Point-Reyes blue cheese, sticky toffee pudding, caramel cheesecake. EST 1994."

FROM THE MOUTH: AMERICAN DOUBLE IPA: Not much in the aroma department but lots in the taste department. Toffee/caramel sweet backdrop to this earthy/whiskey wood barrel, dry hop ending work of magic. You can really taste the wood barrel aging- very distinct, smooth, warm and full. I will keep this around! A+

FROM THE STORE: Albertsons
