NERO'S 1ST CENTURY DOUBLE DARK MALT ALE

99 BOTTLES OF BEER ON THE WALL

September 24, 2012 (Monday)
NERO'S 1ST CENTURY DOUBLE DARK MALT ALE
500 ML., 1 PINT 0.9 FL. OZ., CONTAINS ALCOHOL. ALC. 8% BY VOL.
Brewed and Bottled by Birra Amacord S.p.A. 47923 RIMINI (RN)- Brewery IN: Apecchio (PU) Italy
Imported by: Plume Ridge, Claremont, CA

FROM THE LABEL: "Imported Italian Craft Ale."

FROM THE MOUTH: BOCK: Like licking maple syrup off your plate after a stack of your favorite pancakes yummy. Not much going on but malty sweetness, a rock and roll bottle design and a high alcohol content- oh and it pours a beautiful deep umber with a wisp of foam- isn't it lovely. I have already had too much and I didn't drink enough water before I started. A perfect beer after a long day of painting. A+

Check in tomorrow for a posting of my home brew. Yes, Stevens Creek Swigs will have a beer, label and a blog posting! No label until December when the beer is officially tasted! Tomorrow will have some pictures and a bit of information about the process.

FROM THE STORE: Trader Joe's
