FROM THE MOUTH: ENGLISH PALE ALE: Wish my hair was that color- sounds like a good name for a beer! This is a solid beer- it is not wishy washy about what it is trying to say. It is caramel malty sweet and chewy- with touches of lemony, citrusy hops. More towards the malty side but not enough where you would say it is a sweet beer- the hops are not forward but just enough to balance it all out. Has a whiskey-ice teaness to the dry aftertaste--hmmm. I would have this again. A
