FROM THE LABEL: "Belgian ales represent the height of the brewers' yeast, with sophisticated brewing techniques, yeast blends and unique flavorings. PranQster follows in this tradition using a mix culture of antique yeast strains that produce a floral nose, full fruity flavor and a clean finish."

FROM THE MOUTH AND NOSE: Lovely aroma- mild and ...what is that I smell? And look at that clear naples yellow pour- nice looking beer. This is an unusual taste for me [ haha, what's new] because I taste cloves, yes sir. Cloves are very appropriate in some south German wheat beers; it arises from phenols created in fermentation. Who knew! Anyway, I would particularly enjoy this beer around the holidays when the smell of cloves and cinnamon are in the air Or perhaps, better yet, someone will invite me to The Kingdom of Belgium and we can float down the Yser and talk about the art of Jan Van Eyck- saying YES to travel and yes to this beer.. A-

FROM THE GRILL: Steak and fries ( little tip- french fries originated in Belgium- who knew!)

FROM THE STORE: Huckleberries in Spokane, WA
