FROM THE LABEL:

FROM THE MOUTH: BELGIAN STRONG DARK ALE: Aroma: typical Unibroue- Belgian yeast with cloves, coriander, dark fruits, toffee, chocolate and some chewy biscuit. Taste: like it smells-thick Belgian yeast up front with a considerable amount of spices- clove, coriander and cinnamon. Then hit em with some banana and those dark fruits, fig raisin dates all dredged in sugary toffee and chocolate. Very complex, lots going on but also a typical Unibroue, nicely blended and not boring.  Perfect beer after a long semester that ended today... did I mention the nice warm alcohol burn after each sip..ahhhhhh  A

In this sad world of ours, sorrow comes to all; and, to the young, it comes with bitterest agony, because it takes them unawares.--December 23, 1862 Abraham Lincoln
