FROM THE LABEL:

FROM THE MOUTH : OLD ALE: A big dark auburn perfect head pour. Never know what to expect when you tilt the bottle... so, when something this pretty flows out you have to admire it. Love the lone skier in the moonlight label design. Aroma is toffee/caramel malts with dark fruit, some citrus and a bit of Northwest hop grapefruit pine. Taste hits you up front with strong sweet malt flavors- caramel, maple syrup and molasses. Some nutty flavors mingle with piney hops for a nice balance of bitterness to sweet, but....a bit too sweet in the end for my taste. You could sip this after a meal..like a port beer! A-
