FROM THE LABEL: "Since 1983. Bottle conditioned. Brewed from the purest malt and hops."
FROM THE MOUTH: WINTER ALE: Wee heavy is a good introduction ..wee bit malty AND did we not learn something this week about "bottle conditioned' beer.....THAT'S RIGHT.....has that sherry or madiera flavor and aroma. So when you are buying a beer and looking at their extremely artsy labels ( I got a pretty good close up on this one- a mini painting) and notice 'bottle conditioned' you will think....stevenscreekswigs said you might find the beer to have just a wee bit of sherry kicking it. A+
