TORPEDO- EXTRA IPA ALE
12 fluid ounces, 7.2% BY VOL.
Brewed and Bottle by Sierra Nevada Brewing Co, Chico, CA
+++1/2
FROM THE BOTTLE: "Sierra Nevada Torpedo IPA is a big American IPA, perfectly balanced yet full of flavor and aromas highlighting the complex citrus, pine and herbal character of whole-cone American hops."
FROM THE MOUTH: Yes, yes, yes, this is a nice mouthful of beer and I can now say I could taste pine before I read the label- woohoo, my buds are barking. And ...I did smell the beer first to see what that was all about...yup, you can definitely define the hops through everything else- starts a bit citrus but moves immediately into a full hop flavor.

FROM THE GRILL:" Po' Boy Sandwiches. A New Orleans favorite, this submarine style sandwich is typically made with fish or seafood like catfish, crawfish, shrimp, or oysters. The fish or seafood is fried and placed on a submarine or hoagie style bun often dressed with mayonnaise, tomatoes, and lettuce."
