MARITIME PACIFIC IMPERIAL PALE ALE
12 FL. OZ (354 ML)., 7.5% ABV (not on label)
Brewed in the Northwest with Imagination by Maritime Brewing Co., Seattle WA
+++1/2

FROM THE LABEL: " Keep cold. Ingredients: Malt, Hops, Yeast and Water."

FROM THE MOUTH: AMERICAN DOUBLE/ IMPERIAL IPA: Well balanced and dangerously drinkable., watch out. You don't need to know the ABV because you can feel it after your first one or two sips...it has that booze twang going. First sip was a heavy sweet caramel malt that blended right into a piney dry powerhouse hop with the needles still sticking in your tongue way after your last sip. But this is definitely more malt forward.  I am not real good yet on all the different flavors I am tasting but I get some citrus rind. Nice beer but you need to be prepared for the buzz which I was not- I should know by now that imperial means an American Double! A+
