FROM THE LABEL:

FROM THE MOUTH: AMERICAN DOUBLE/ IMPERIAL STOUT: Pours a glossy thick black with a beautiful cream foam. Taste pretty much follows the nose- chocolate- coffee- caramel- bitter roasted malt, molasses with a soft chewy oat, dark fruit and a whisper of hops for bitterness. I also taste amaretto immediately following the oat. This is a sweet complex beer- heavy malt flavors. Mouthfeel is heavenly. This is an excellent stout. A+

Mouthfeel is smooth with a moderately dry finish.

Overall a solid, well-crafted imperial stout.
