FROM THE LABLE: "Named after our beloved lab, this beautiful deep russet brew is dominated by a chocolate and brown sugar maltiness with hints of vanilla and nuts, producing a very smooth, well- balanced and quaffable brown ale. Brewed with Rocky Mountain water, malt barley, hops and yeast. est. 1993."

FROM THE MOUTH: BROWN ALE: Not too many labels actually get it right about what they have brewed  and poured into the bottle. Perhaps they say what  they were planning to produce or hope you taste ( sometimes I really strain to find the 'raisin' to no avail) but so often it is romantic drunk talk. So what you read is actually what you get- give it a try, this is an excellent Brown Ale. A+
