FROM THE LABEL: "The great mustachioed barleycorn himself, "Jack D'Or" stands alone in a forest, knee deep in a mash-tun, conjuring himself into beer. Master of the four ingredients, Jack D'Or is inspired by the great farm-brewed ales of Belgium. This beer is not just a recreation; we have imagined this beer into a modern urban landscape. Look for a sharply bitter backbone with a dry, herbal character, finishing with an almost spicy, fruity hop finish. We ferment Jack D'Or with four yeast strains for complexity and dryness. No spices or sugar are added. Jack D'Or: Saison Americaine."

FROM THE MOUTH: ALE:I am drinking this beer in Cambridge Massachusetts; sitting at my cousins Michaels kitchen table. I wanted to have something from this area and Jack D' OR came through with flying colors: smooth, pleasantly bitter with a nice dry citrus spice finish. I loved this beer.A

FROM THE STORE: Liquor store in Cambridge

"The aim of life is to live, and to live means to be aware , joyously, drunkingly, serenely, divinely aware."
