FROM THE BACK LABEL: " It is well known that Newcastle Brown Ale is full of flavor and remarkably smooth, what's less known is that starting in 1925 it took three long years for Colonel J.Porter to create the brands distinctive recipe. When first exhibited , Newcastle Brown Ale swept

WOW- the label has four awards! Nice pour, beautiful amber color and a definite winner in my book. It has a mild hoppy taste but it is blended so nicely with the malt that you are not sure if that really is what you just tasted. Man this is SMOOTH......................
I will definitely be drinking this beer again.
Food choice- Bangers and Mash (mashed potatoes and sausages). (since our beer is imported from England) And by the way...... Bangers are sausages in England. (The reason sausages were nicknamed bangers is that during wartime rationing they were so filled with water they often exploded when they were fried.)
When life gives you lemons......you probably just found lemons.
