Tonight we have a beer from Deschutes Brewery in Bend Oregon. They describe the beer thusly:
Discover Deschutes Brewerys intriguing Amber Ale with a mellow malt profile intertwined with subltly surprising hop flavors. They also list ingredients stating there are 5 types of 100% organic malted barley balanced with Liberty and Salmon-Safe Sterling hops.
As you can see by the pour it has a nice foam and a beautiful reddish yellow color. Much lighter than last nights beer however it is still hoppy but milder in taste. I would not say bitter but it almost wants to cling bitter on the back of your tongue but as soon as you think it will..it slides away. Last nights beer was strong and packed a punch- but this beer is milder and softer. Would go great with some cowboy caviar!
