FROM THE MOUTH: AMERICAN STOUT: Finally found a Stout in the fridge and I have missed them. What a lovely color- it pours deep deep chocolate black. I didn't get much of a head but who cares. It smells like someone is baking a chocolate cake while I am drinking coffee. And the taste is chocolate sweet but it's a dry dark bakers chocolate that has been rubbed in coffee grounds. Aftertaste is lovely log licking good. A really good stout, chewy, balanced and full of itself. I look forward to having this again. A
