FROM THE MOUTH: BROWN ALE: I love this beer all the way around starting from the label design to the unique taste. Pour is beautiful dark/amber chocolate with a nice two finger foam that I missed because my camera was downstairs. Aroma is malt/toffee/coffee sweet. Taste starts out as a stout (call it earthy or log licking) and blends smoothly into a semi bitter IPA. A hop head- stout lovers dream of a beer. So nicely balanced- you think you are drinking a dark porter but then you are drinking an IPA but then you are drinking a porter and now you finish with an IPA. what fun! Love it! Again, why do they never mention the artist who did the label- they list everything else? A+
