FROM THE MOUTH: PORTER: When I think Porter, I think 'licking the bottom of a log' or better yet stuffing some peat into your check and drinking a strong cup of coffee ( you would be in Ireland so you would need it to be hot.) The aroma is sweet- the pour is beautiful - the taste is malty.. roasty-smokey - log licking good with a strong dry coffee bitter finish. A
