FROM THE LABEL: " Maredsous Brune is a high fermentation abbey beer, brewed in accordance with the Benedictine tradition of the community of Maredsous Abbey. The beer is refermented in the bottle during the two- month ageing period. Maredsous Brune should ideally be served at a temperature of 42-30' F. Contains barley wheat. Biere Belge d' Abbaye- Belfisch Abdijbier."

FROM THE MOUTH: DUBBEL:  I am not sure if it is because of the cool bottle and the elegant (wine like)  label but I am especially enjoying this beer. First off  the aroma is wonderful - sweet and full, second it looks perfect in a glass. Taste is a sweet malt, with a very thick distinct dark cherry with a tug of Belgian spice ( Belgian beers have that spice- coriander perhaps- whichs works really well with the cherry). This would be delicious around the holidays, by the fire- it would even work as an after dinner drink..... a sweet cherry cordial. Really nice Dubbel. A+

FROM THE STORE: Huckleberry's in Spokane WA
