FROM THE LABEL: "We begin with a custom mixture of dark and roasted barley malts, then we add the choicest hops. The resulting ale has a dark chestnut color and deep nutty flavor. Distinctive Dark Ale."

FROM THE MOUTH: DARK ALE:  My new favorite dark ale even if it is a bit on the sweet side- it works because it has a bit of porter burnt log licking to it at the end. Plus my cat is dying tonight and this beer is taking away some of the pain. A
