April 7, 2012 (Saturday)
SANTA FE NUT BROWN ALE
12 FL. OZ.
Brewed and Bottled by the Sante Fe Brewing Co., Sante FE, N.M.
++

FROM THE LABEL: " Using only the finest ingredients: Water, Malted Barley, Whole flower Hops and water."

FROM THE FROSTED MUG: A publication of Amazing Clubs "Santa Fe Nut Brown. The brown ale style comes from England's pubs, where beer drinkers wanted a beer that was flavorful and complex, yet mild enough to be considered a session beer. The Sante Fe Brewing Company's Nut Brown interpretation is an easy-drinking beer that is mild and smooth; try a keg of it at your next shindig. Awards: 2012 Rockies/Southwest Regional Champion: Brown Ale, Us Beer Tasting Championship."

FROM THE MOUTH: BROWN ALE: Nice flavor, sort of like a watered down cup of black coffee but with some piney hops jumping in at the end. Like the label says...mild and smooth. I would probably have this again, keep it in the fridge or serve it at a party. B+

FROM THE STORE: Tonights beer is compliments of my daughter Whitney who sent them from www.amazingclubs.com - thanks Whit.

May God grant you always...

A sunbeam to warm you,

A moonbeam to charm you,

A sheltering angel,

so nothing can harm you.
